- ◆ 0.5 reminder: Arbiter of Ash is no longer the top of the mountain — the new apex is the Arbiter of Divinity. See the endgame guide for the 5 new storylines (Origins of Divinity / the Fortress is one of them).

Routing Notes
- ◆ Interludes are permanent reward zones — every reward listed is missable, do all three before maps
- ◆ 0.5: play the three interludes in any order. The page keeps the game's 5.1 / 5.2 / 5.3 labels for reference, but there is no forced sequence
- ◆ Recommended order: 5.3 → 5.1 → 5.2. Do 5.3 (Mount Kriar) first for the early +40 Spirit power spike, then 5.1 (Ogham) as the easier middle, then 5.2 (Khari Bazaar)
- ⚠ Resistances drop the moment you enter an interlude — only zone in when you're ready to run it, not to scout
- ◆ Skill/Spirit gem reward levels are order-dependent — the gem level scales with how far in you are / which interlude you did first, so they are not fixed numbers
- ◆ Layouts persist between runs — once you know an interlude, subsequent characters can speedrun the rewards
- ◆ Total weapon-swap skill point target by end of interludes: ~24 points
- ◆ Orbala's 7 Boons (Khari Bazaar) — can be swapped anytime by returning to the pillar
- ◆ Mount Kriar layouts and POIs are very consistent — Elder Maddox always near 10–11 o'clock
- ◆ 0.5: monster density was reduced specifically in the Interludes to clear them faster — push, don't over-craft, the next gear bracket is T1 maps
Interlude 5.1 — Ogham, The Refuge Lvl 52–53
Arrive at The Refuge (Ogham) via The Hooded One — talk to The Hooded One
Enter Scorched Farmlands (WP). The Blackwood entrance (N) is sealed by Darkness — clear it via Stones of Serle first. (Opt) boss duo Isolde & Heldra (E)
Stones of Serle (S) — activate the 6 Runed Megaliths to lift the Darkness curse
(Opt) Soul of the Ferryman (docks, inside Holten) Greater Runes ~2000g (cheap)
Through Blackwood → reach Holten. Altars of Omen here drop Omens / Dark Omens
In Holten: boss duo Godwin & Sigbert (drops a Blacksmith's Whetstone — currency). Two routes branch here — clear both: Wolvenhold (Oswin) and Holten Estate (story)
Wolvenhold → slay Oswin, the Dread Warden → Warden's Ledger (use for +2 Skill Points); also drops a unique + Vaal Orb +2 Skill Points
Holten Estate → up two staircases (maze → upper floor) → slay Thane Wulfric & Lady Elswyth (manor courtyard) — 5.1 story bosses
Complete interlude 5.1, return to town
Interlude 5.2 — Khari Bazaar Lvl 54–55
Travel to Khari Crossing via Hooded One
Slay Akthi & Anundr (Worm + Scorpion, SE) → talk to Risu. Nav: beetle chests / rune drop up the stairs (E); Wayfinder's Seals point W to Pools of Kathal +2 Skill Points
(Opt) Torbek (Khari Crossing) Discount rare caster weapons
Travel to Pools of Kathal (WP) — guaranteed Expedition spawn; entrance to Sel Khari Sanctuary here (needed to progress)
Sel Khari Sanctuary (WP): (Opt) Two Wishes — place Yoon's Barya & Rangeen's Barya on their pedestals for 2 rare jewelry picks (each: ring/amulet/jewel; 2nd wish excludes the 1st category) 2× Rare Ring/Amulet/Jewel
End of Sel Khari Sanctuary → slay Elzarah, the Cobra Lord → Asala & Jado appear; then back to Khari Bazaar / further into Khari Crossing
Activate Molten One's Gift — enter the Skullmaw Stairway in the Molten Shrine (NE; Galai Gate is the northern landmark); find seals, reset instance if bugged +5% Maximum Life
Enter Qimah → use Orbala's Pillar — pick 1 of 7 Boons (swap anytime) Permanent Boon
Summon Jado to open the entrance to Qimah Reservoir (if Jado is absent, finish the Sel Khari Sanctuary quest first)

Interlude 5.3 — Mount Kriar, The Glade Lvl 55–58
Travel to Mount Kriar via Hooded One → enter Ashen Forest through The Glade (no waypoint in Ashen Forest)
Find the Ancient Monument in Ashen Forest (a Vaal Beacon is also here — skippable: Vaal Chest or quadrilla encounter) Skill Gem (level scales with interlude order)
Travel to Kriar Village (roving wisps — 2 to follow — show the way; Abyss + Vaal Beacon present) → slay Lythara, the Wayward Spear +40 Spirit Spirit Gem (order-dependent) + Gemcrust Skull
Travel to Glacial Tarn (guaranteed Expedition + Vaal Beacon) → enter Howling Caves (Vaal Beacon) → slay The Abominable Yeti → loot Icy Tusks
Return Icy Tusks to Hilda → Book of Specialization +2 Skill Points
Back to Glacial Tarn → slay Rakkar, the Frozen Talon (NW) to reveal the passage to Kriar Peaks

Travel to Etched Ravine (far end; Vaal Beacon) → slay Stormgore, the Guardian (lightning + reanimating robots) → unlocks The Cuachic Vault
Enter The Cuachic Vault — maze halls. (Opt) Ancient Treasures: open Sealed Vaults at Stone Altars using Small Soul Cores found in the area Currency / loot
Reach the final boss Zolin & Zelina ("Blood Priest" duo) → defeat to advance the Fate of the Vaal storyline
0.5 Core — Fate of the VaalThe six Vaal Beacons are spread across the Mount Kriar zones (one per area); finishing their encounters powers the Temple. Stormgore at the Etched Ravine opens The Cuachic Vault, where Doryani sealed several Vaal as a contingency — clear it and defeat Zolin & Zelina to advance Fate of the Vaal.
